FAMAC was founded by Mr. Fernando Acosta Molinet together with his wife Gladys Brown Hernández in 1998, in the city of Lota.
After 25 years of service in different areas of coal mining, the company was highlighted for its innovation in production processes within this area.

After the closure of the Enacar mines in April 1997, Don Fernando and Mrs. Gladys had the interest in creating FAMAC, in order to be able to provide an innovative industrial service, with the commitment of improving the maintenance time and processes in different areas of the industry. In 2000, Don Fernando Acosta created the HDPE idlers, modular stations, among other innovations, being awarded in 2013 by INAPI for being the person with the most useful machinery models in one year.
FAMAC's organization and work experience provide good communication with their clients, achieving the required results. We are currently focused on the national market, such as pulp industries, refineries, thermoelectric plants, among other national industries.
